It's About Time
Well, I've neglected the website for long enough.  A small face-lift, new navigation, new colors and two new trips documented!

Starting Over!
After eight and a half years at Microsoft, I've moved on to start a new company!   The name is Sucker Punch Productions, and we're building titles for the Nintendo 64 video game system.  Partners in crime include Chris Zimmerman, Bruce Oberg, Tom Saxton, and Darrell Plank...

So far it's been educational, exciting and a whole lot of fun.  The link to the website is above, follow the link there to find out all about us!

Actual Accident Footage!

My sincere apologies to anyone who had their morning commute across the 520 bridge marred this AM by heavy traffic. Unfortunately, my MR2 was rather literally upended by a maroon Nissan 300ZX. The driver of the 300ZX received a cellular call, reached down to pick up the phone, and crashed into me.

There were no injuries in this accident fortunately, though the MR2 emerged undriveable. The front end of the car is crumpled, you can see the hood at the extreme right edge of the photo.

Surprisingly, the 300ZX did not require a tow from the scene. I find this remarkable given that my left rear wheel was firmly planted on his front windshield.

Below you'll see a snapshots from the local traffic website. John Tippett was quick enough to grab this image before the tow truck had arrived. You can clearly see the backup headed eastbound (which confusingly is towards the bottom on the map). The black section to the right of the green 520 logo is clearly visible.

Quotes from the Scene:

"OK, where's Evel Knievel" -Chris Aikala, tow truck driver

"We were practicing for the circus and look what happened" -Brian to the first cop on the scene
